Miscellaneous

These are miscellaneous images. Some are photos of persons who are unidentified. If you know who they are, let's get them labeled properly.

Tuchola Register Correction Combining Pages 140 and 159

Description:
The birth/baptism register for Tuchola 1882-1890 had some pages out of place when it was (re)assembled so the names on the left hand side did not correspond to the names on the right hand side. Since the pages were numbered after assembly, what is labeled page 159 actually should come after page 140. This image puts those pages together instead of having to looking at two images and trying to make sense of them.

St. Hyacinth Class of 1927

Description:
This is the right half of a photograph taken of the graduates from St. Hyacinth School in Chicago in 1927. The photo had been folded and eventually tore in half. Irene Stencel is the girl below the last boy (far right) in the top row. Do you know who some of the other graduates are? The image below doesn't have enough resolution that you can see the faces very well, but if you click the image, a larger higher resolution image will come up. If you right click that image, you can save the image on your computer and so that you may use whatever image enhancing software you have to see it better.

Wedding Couple

Description:
This wedding photo was taken in Green Bay, Wisconsin and was among my grandmother's family photos. The couple is believed to be Vincent and Veronica (Verne) (nee Mytys) Penksa who were married in Hofa Park, Wisconsin in 1902. While this is the likely the case, children and cousins (who were not even born in 1902) claim it is not them based on their recollections of what they looked like. I have a slightly later photo of Verne Penksa and maybe facial recognition software might confirm or refute my claim. Do you know who the mystery couple is?

Wedding Group

Description:
Photo taken pre-1910 in Chicago, IL. Likely relatives of Stanley Mroz. Some of his relatives were married at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Church. There are some individuals in common to both this and another mystery photo. One such person may be Anastasia Julik, Stanley's cousin. She later married a Frank Dorozynski in 1910. Anastasia was from Krzywki, near Mikulince, in Galicia. Can your identify anyone in this photo?
