St. Hyacinth Church, Chicago

Births
Volume 1 of baptisms is a classic example of poor baptismal register design. The tight binding hides many names so the index for this volume is not as reliable as for other volumes. Some "missing" names were reconstructed from fragments of names that were visible and from records of siblings that were not compromised.

Volume 2 of baptisms was organized better and more reliable.

Deaths
St. Hyacinth death records frequently included names, dates, ages but also parents, and where the deceased was from. The handwriting was generally good.

Marriages
In the marriage section of the volume, place names tended to be few and far between until 1908. In 1908, the place names become much more useful and the writing is pretty clear. At some point in 1915, the quality of the writing goes down and fewer place names are given.
