Like many diocese, parishes are closed and/or merged with other parishes to form new ones due to declining membership and lack of staff. Some of the buildings may or may not still exist for defunct parishes. For example, I gather that Sacred Heart Church in Two Rivers, WI was demolished and the site is used as a strip mall anchored by a Walgreens. The congregation was merged with some other parishes to become St. Peter the Fisherman. Ss. Cyril & Methodius in Eaton, WI was merged in 1999 with another parish to become St. Thomas the Apostle in Humboldt, WI. The building was sold in 2003, demolished and the site used to build a new Town of Poland, WI town hall. The church was probably just north of the cemetery which is what the map above will take you to. The cemetery has the SS Cyril & Methodius Faith Community Chapel. Its function as a Catholic church is unclear. St. Hedwig Church in West Kewaunee was merged with another parish to form St. Theres de Lisieux in Stangleville, WI. One source says there was a church called St. Stanislaus Kostka in Green Bay and appears to have been privately owned. The Catholic bishop bought the church in 1898 and it became St. Mary of Częstochowa. In 1900, this church became known as St. Mary of the Angels.
